Vysokov cheese-making plant was build in the late 1930-s.
The first reconstruction was carried out in 1961 including construction of boiler house, compressor house, cheese making workshop and cheese storage. During the technical reequipment of the plant in 2002 a new workshop was introduced as well as new cameras for cheese ripening and storage. The new equipment from leading Austrian, German, Hungarian and Russian producers was purchased what enabled the plant to increase productive capacity. Besides the production of new sorts of cheese was settled such as Dutch, Russian, Poshekhonsky, Kostomskoy, Voskresensky, Monastirsky, Belaya Rus. These sorts are the most popular and demanded in the market.
